Three Individuals Sustain Gunshot Injuries in Early Morning Shooting at Jacksonville Sunoco Station


On August 10, 2025, in the early hours of Sunday morning, law enforcement officers from Jacksonville responded to a shooting incident that occurred at the Sunoco gas station located at 1393 Kings Road. Authorities arrived at the scene around 6:10 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire and discovered two victims who had sustained gunshot wounds.

Shortly after the initial discovery, a third individual approached nearby officers, alerting them to additional injuries sustained during the incident.

The three victims include two women and one man, all of whom are reported to be in their 30s. Among the female victims, one suffered gunshot wounds to her hand and leg, while the other female was injured in the leg. The male victim sustained a gunshot wound to his foot. Emergency medical personnel transported all three individuals to a local hospital for treatment. Officials have confirmed that their conditions are stable.

According to information provided by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Robbery and Violent Crime Unit, the shooting occurred while the victims were standing near the gas pumps at the station. A dark-colored Dodge Charger pulled into the gas station, and the passenger inside the vehicle rolled down the window and fired multiple shots, striking the three victims.

Detectives assigned to the case are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. This includes interviewing witnesses present at the scene during the event and reviewing surveillance footage captured by cameras in the vicinity to identify the suspect or suspects responsible.

Law enforcement officials are requesting assistance from the public and have urged anyone with information related to the incident to come forward.
