Motorcyclist Killed in North Natomas Crash Wednesday Night

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Wednesday in Sacramento's North Natomas neighborhood, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Police said officers responded just before 8 p.m. to a report of a crash in the area of Natomas Boulevard and North Bend Drive. When officers arrived, they found a male motorcycle rider who had suffered injuries in the collision. Sacramento police reported that the man died from his injuries at the scene.

Solo-Vehicle Collision Under Investigation

Officials stated that the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash. Authorities have not determined what led to the collision. Sacramento police said officers were interviewing witnesses as part of the ongoing investigation into the incident in the North Natomas area.

The identity of the motorcyclist has not yet been released. Following the crash, Sacramento police announced that, just after 9 p.m., Natomas Boulevard was closed between North Park Drive and New Market Drive, as well as at North Park drives. The closure was implemented to allow officers to secure the scene and conduct their investigation in the North Natomas neighborhood.

The Sacramento Police Department is asking anyone who witnessed the crash to contact investigators. Witnesses are urged to call the department at 916-808-5471.
