Fort Worth police used video surveillance and support from the Fort Worth Real Time Crime Center to identify the suspected shooter. Authorities determined that 20-year-old Mia Dominguez fired the shots during the confrontation. The Real Time Crime Center provided assistance in reviewing and analyzing video evidence that helped confirm her identity.

Dominguez was located and taken into custody the next day. Police reported that the arrest occurred around 7 p.m., approximately 27 hours after the shooting. Officers detained her without incident.

Charges and Custody Details

Following her arrest, Dominguez was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The charge is classified as a second-degree felony under Texas law. Officers transported her to the Tarrant County Jail, where she is being held on a $25,000 bond.

Police noted that no individuals were harmed during the road rage incident despite the gunfire striking a vehicle. Investigators processed the scene on Azle Avenue and documented damage caused by the shooting.
