Brother Dies in Accident While Returning Home After Paying Sister's School Fees, Didn't Wear Helmet

A tragic road accident has claimed the life of a young man who was returning home after paying his sister’s college fees. The incident has left his family devastated, as their son, full of dreams and responsibilities, never made it back. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Firoz Malik, 23, a resident of Jaspur, had gone to a college in Rampur to deposit the B.Sc. fees for his younger sister. Riding a Bullet motorcycle borrowed from his uncle, he set out in the morning, taking pride in helping his sister’s education.

Around 2 PM, while returning home via the Jaspur–Surjinagar road, tragedy struck. Near Dulhepur, Firoz lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a roadside structure. Locals and police rushed to his aid, taking him to a community health center in Thakurdwara. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.

His family is shattered. Firoz was the eldest among his siblings, already a graduate with a B.Sc., and was determined to ensure his younger sister could pursue the same. Just minutes before the accident, he had spoken to his mother on the phone. She had asked when he’d be home for lunch, unaware that their conversation would be their last.

After receiving the news, the grieving family decided to take his body home without an autopsy. No official complaint has been filed yet.

Firoz's untimely death is a tragic reminder of how something as simple as wearing a helmet could have made all the difference between life and death.
