Tragic Death of Medical Intern at Rama Hospital, Caught on CCTV

A shocking incident unfolded at Rama Hospital in Kanpur's Bithoor area, where a 26-year-old medical intern, Sneha Pathak, tragically lost her life. The incident, captured on CCTV, shows Sneha collapsing suddenly at the nursing station on Friday afternoon. The police have begun an investigation into the matter.

Sneha, a resident of Natwar Nagar, Mathura, was interning in the pediatric ward as part of her 2019 batch medical program. On the fateful day, she stepped out of the pediatric ward to call attendants for the children’s treatment. Moments later, she collapsed at the nursing station, leaving staff and patients in shock.

The hospital staff quickly rushed her to the ICU, but despite their best efforts, doctors declared her dead after conducting an ECG. The sudden death has raised questions, with preliminary suspicions pointing towards either a head injury or a heart attack as the possible cause.

The tragic news devastated Sneha’s family, who were immediately informed by the hospital. Her parents, upon receiving the call, rushed to Kanpur in a state of deep distress. Meanwhile, hundreds of medical students and staff gathered outside the ICU, mourning the loss of their colleague.

Sneha’s untimely death comes just two months before she was set to receive her degree. According to the Dean of the Medical College, Brajendra Nigam, she was residing in the college hostel and was in the final stages of her internship in the pediatric ward.

The police are waiting for her family’s arrival to proceed further with the investigation. The entire medical community is grieving the loss, and the cause of death will be confirmed after a detailed inquiry.
