Chase Briscoe secured his first Cup Series victory of the season on Sunday night at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois, holding off teammate Christopher Bell in the final laps. Briscoe, 31, celebrated his sixth career win with a burnout and a wave to the sellout crowd. Bell, who is recovering from a broken left wrist, finished in second place, marking his fourth runner-up finish this season.

Denny Hamlin took third place, while William Byron and Alex Bowman rounded out the top five. Bubba Wallace, driving a “Space Jam”-themed car, finished sixth. Tyler Reddick faced setbacks due to an oil leak, finishing 36th, and Kyle Larson, who spun out during the race, ended in 34th place. The event marked NASCAR's return to the Joliet track after a hiatus since 2019, with the race drawing attention despite prior attendance struggles.
