San Antonio Police Seek 18-Year-Old Suspect in Fatal Shooting on White Cloud Street
San Antonio police have launched a search for 18-year-old Jaden Gutierrez in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred early on March 15 on the city’s Northwest Side.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 12:35 a.m. in the 5900 block of White Cloud Street. Upon arrival, authorities found two victims: a 17-year-old girl and a 22-year-old man, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
The female victim, identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office as Josielynn Cordova, died at the scene from a gunshot wound to her torso. Police reported that the 22-year-old male victim was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. His current condition was not immediately available.
According to witness accounts provided to detectives, Gutierrez allegedly entered the residence, retrieved a firearm, and shot both Cordova and the male victim. Investigators have since named Gutierrez as the primary suspect in the case and are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the San Antonio Police Department Homicide Unit.
The incident marks another fatal shooting involving young people in the area and has prompted a public appeal for information as authorities continue their efforts to locate the suspect. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made as of Thursday.
