Illinois State Trooper Injured in Early Morning Crash Near Garfield Park
An Illinois state trooper and another driver were injured in a collision involving a state police squad car early Monday morning near Garfield Park on Chicago's West Side.
The Illinois State Police reported that the crash occurred at approximately 4:15 a.m. at the intersection of West Jackson Boulevard and South Homan Avenue. According to state police, troopers responded to the scene after one of their own was involved in the accident.
