According to a statement from the Columbus Division of Police, officers were dispatched just after 10 a.m. on December 30 to conduct a welfare check at the couple's residence. When officers arrived, they located two adults inside the home with apparent gunshot wounds. The victims were identified as Spencer and Monique Tepe, and they were pronounced dead at the scene.
Children Located Uninjured Inside the Home
Police reported that two children, a 1-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl, were found inside the home. Both children were uninjured. No weapons were located at the scene, and investigators said there were no signs of forced entry into the residence.
