Azealia Banks Accuses Conor McGregor of Sending Explicit Images as Harassment Allegations Resurface

Conor McGregor, once revered as a trailblazer in the world of mixed martial arts, found himself engulfed in controversy again—this time on his 37th birthday, as rapper Azealia Banks accused the former UFC champion of sending unsolicited nude photos and posted what she claimed to be evidence.

The uproar unfolded on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where Banks uploaded two screenshots showing explicit content she alleges was sent by McGregor. One image features a fully nude man, purportedly McGregor, standing in front of a mirror. Another screenshot shows a direct message exchange, where McGregor allegedly wrote, “lifting weights,” seemingly referencing a weight tied around his genitals.

Although the original post was promptly removed by the platform for violating community guidelines, it triggered an avalanche of reactions and discussions online. Banks continued her scathing remarks toward McGregor, accusing him not only of sexual harassment but also ridiculing his personal ambitions and appearance.

"Like how are you really going to sexually harass me with the potato farmer d–k then threaten me not to tell????" she wrote in her now-deleted post. “Honey… ain’t u trying to be the president of Ireland? What is it giving, fam? Use some f—king sunscreen, damn.”

One of the screenshots indicated that the alleged message from McGregor was received early Monday morning, with no prior conversation preceding the message, suggesting it was unprompted.

At the time of the post, McGregor was reportedly following Banks on X, though it's unclear whether they had any prior interaction. His representatives have not issued a public response to the allegations.

This latest scandal arrives amid a flurry of legal and personal turmoil for McGregor. He is currently appealing a previous conviction for sexual assault, a case that already damaged his public image. Over the weekend, he was seen in Florida with a brunette woman, sparking rumors and scrutiny about the state of his marriage.

Despite the controversy, McGregor’s long-time partner Dee Devlin appeared to show public support, sharing a picture of McGregor on her Instagram Story Monday morning before setting her account to private.

Meanwhile, McGregor is actively attempting a return to public life in more ways than one. He has floated the idea of a political run for the Irish presidency and hinted at a UFC comeback scheduled for July 4, 2026, in what’s rumored to be a blockbuster card set near the White House.

However, McGregor has not competed inside the Octagon since July 2021, when he suffered a gruesome leg break. Although a return was planned for 2024, he pulled out due to a foot injury—yet he was spotted partying in Dublin on May 27, raising questions about his recovery and commitment.

This incident adds to the mounting controversies that have shadowed McGregor in recent years, complicating both his fighting legacy and any aspirations beyond the sport.
