Woman Discovered Dead Near Los Angeles River After Possible Fall from Moving Vehicle
A tragic scene unfolded early Sunday morning, July 13, 2025, when a woman was found dead along a bike path near the Los Angeles River in Long Beach. Authorities suspect the woman may have fallen from a motorcycle or another moving vehicle, though the exact cause remains under active investigation.
Officers with the Long Beach Police Department were dispatched at approximately 5:20 a.m. to a location north of Willow Street, following reports of a body in the area. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a woman lying lifeless on the west side of the river's bike path.
