Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson Get Engaged During Ozzy Osbourne’s Final Black Sabbath Concert

Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson are officially engaged following a heartfelt proposal during a once-in-a-lifetime moment—Ozzy Osbourne’s final performance with Black Sabbath. The engagement took place on July 5 at Villa Park in Birmingham, England, marking an unforgettable personal milestone for the Osbourne family amidst a historic night in rock music.

In a touching video shared on social media, Sid Wilson, 48, can be seen addressing his longtime love during the legendary concert. “Kelly, you know I love you more than anything in the world,” he says, just before her father, Ozzy Osbourne, 76, playfully interrupts with, “F--- off, you’re not marrying my daughter.” The crowd erupts in laughter, and Wilson continues, unfazed, “Nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life with you. So, in front of your family and all of our friends, Kelly, will you marry me?”

A stunned and emotional Kelly Osbourne, 40, nods yes before hugging Wilson tightly. Cheers erupted from the crowd, with Sharon Osbourne and Jack Osbourne among the many family members and friends witnessing the magical moment.

The couple’s story is rooted in a long-standing friendship that began back in 1999, when Wilson’s band Slipknot toured with Ozzfest, the iconic music festival founded by Kelly’s parents. After years of friendship, they began dating in January 2022, with sources close to them revealing they were “very happy together.”

Kelly publicly celebrated their bond during their first Valentine's Day as a couple, sharing a heartfelt Instagram post: "After 23 years of friendship I can’t believe where we have ended up! You are my best friend, my soulmate and I am so deeply in love with you Sidney George Wilson." Wilson echoed the sentiment with his own Instagram post, writing, "There is not enough colours to display the palette of Love I have for you in my Heart 💜 Happy Valentine’s Day my Love XoXo."

Just months later, in May 2022, the couple announced they were expecting their first child. Kelly shared the joyous news with a photo of her holding an ultrasound image, writing, “I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma. To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic! 🤰💜”

Their son was born at the end of that year, and although Kelly wished to keep the news private initially, an enthusiastic Sharon Osbourne, 72, revealed the baby’s name—Sidney—during a television appearance in January 2023, saying, “They’re doing so great. She won’t let a picture go out of him.”

Later that day, Kelly took to Instagram Stories to emphasize her desire for privacy, posting, “I am not ready to share him with the world.”

By September 2023, Kelly spoke openly on The Osbournes podcast about embracing motherhood. Describing baby Sidney as “the best thing that ever happened to me”, she said, “I just love being a mom. It is everything to me.”

The engagement, timed with Ozzy’s final bow on stage, adds yet another layer of meaning to a night already steeped in nostalgia and legacy. For Kelly and Sid, it wasn't just a farewell to a chapter of music history—it was the beginning of their next one together.
