Jaipur Double Murder Leaves Couple Shot Dead at Home

A shocking double murder has sent shockwaves across Jaipur after a couple was brutally killed inside their home in the Sanganer Sadar area. The victims, identified as Raju Ram Meena and his wife, Asha Meena, were attacked late Friday evening. Police have identified their neighbor, Monu, as the prime suspect, who fled the scene immediately after the crime.

The tragic incident took place in Shanti Vihar, where the couple had been residing. Originally from Kotkhavda, they had recently moved to this area. Preliminary investigations suggest that the motive behind the murders could be linked to a love affair and personal disputes, but the exact cause remains unclear.

According to the police, the couple and the accused worked together at a factory that specialized in making kurtis. While Raju had left the job some time ago, Monu and Asha continued to work at the same location. On Friday, Monu allegedly entered their home and shot both Raju and Asha in the head. Asha succumbed to her injuries on the spot, while Raju was rushed to the hospital but later died during treatment.

The incident triggered panic in the area, with senior police officials, including DCP South Digant Anand, arriving at the scene to supervise the investigation. Forensic teams were also called to collect crucial evidence. Police have recovered multiple mobile numbers linked to the accused Monu and are actively tracking him. Monu is a native of Agra, Uttar Pradesh, and a police team has been dispatched to locate him there.

The couple’s bodies have been sent for postmortem, which will be conducted today. The police are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to find Monu and uncover the full details behind this gruesome act.

This tragic event has left residents of Shanti Vihar in shock, as they await justice for the slain couple.
