Running through late 2026, the comprehensive refurbishment introduces contemporary architectural finishes, luminous backlit stretched fabric ceilings, refined column cladding, and state-of-the-art energy-efficient LED illumination across all public concourses.

To safeguard local commercial vitality and community convenience, works are systematically scheduled during overnight hours, allowing the shopping centre’s popular supermarket, retail boutiques, and restaurants to remain fully open and accessible to shoppers and international visitors without interruption.

1,800-Space Parking des Salines Intercepts Daily Commuter Traffic

The Fontvieille enhancements seamlessly complement Monaco’s aggressive sustainable mobility framework, anchored by the successful operation of the monumental Parking des Salines. Positioned strategically at the Principality's western entrance near the Jardin Exotique, the 15-storey mobility hub provides 1,800 parking spaces designed to intercept up to 4,000 commuter and tourist vehicles entering the city daily from neighboring French communities.

Supported by preferential long-stay rates, dedicated pedestrian link bridges, and free express electric shuttle buses operated by the Compagnie des Autobus de Monaco (CAM), the hub smoothly transfers motorists into Fontvieille and Monte Carlo while drastically reducing inner-city vehicular emissions and arterial roadway congestion.
