35th Monaco Yacht Show Opens at Port Hercule Showcasing Next-Generation Sustainable Superyachts

PORT HERCULE, Monaco — The international maritime world has converged on the Principality of Monaco as the prestigious 35th Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) officially opened along the quays of Port Hercule, presenting the world's premier gathering of superyachts, luxury catamarans, and pioneering marine technologies.

Stretching across the vibrant waterfront of La Condamine, this year's edition features more than 120 world-class superyachts and over 60 high-performance tenders, attracting global shipbuilders, naval architects, and maritime investors. Leading international shipyards, including Sunreef Yachts and renowned European design houses, unveiled flagship debuts focusing sharply on sustainable cruising solutions, including solar-electric auxiliary systems, hydrogen-assist propulsion, and lightweight composite hull geometry.

A central focal point of the 2026 exhibition is the dedicated Sustainability Hub, where marine engineers are demonstrating cutting-edge water filtration technology, silent zero-emission battery anchoring systems that safeguard sensitive Mediterranean posidonia seagrass meadows, and alternative biofuel implementations.
