Pennsylvania Attorney General Sues Photographer Over Missing Wedding Photos
Pennsylvania's Attorney General has filed a lawsuit against Philadelphia wedding photographer Christina Hernandez, who operates under the name Wandering Stardust Collective, for allegedly failing to deliver contracted photography and videography services. The lawsuit claims that clients lost at least $75,000 due to Hernandez's actions, which included double- or triple-booking wedding dates and sending replacement photographers without prior notice.
The lawsuit also alleges that Hernandez refused to refund deposits to clients who did not receive the promised services. Attorney General Dave Sunday stated that the lawsuit seeks restitution for affected clients and aims to impose penalties under the Pennsylvania Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law, including $1,000 for each violation and $3,000 for violations involving consumers aged 60 or older.
Furthermore, the lawsuit seeks to permanently ban Hernandez from operating a business in Pennsylvania. Attempts to reach Hernandez for comment were unsuccessful, as her website and phone number are currently out of service.
