32-Year-Old Man Shot and Robbed in River North, Chicago

A 32-year-old man was shot multiple times during a robbery in the River North neighborhood of Chicago early Sunday morning. The incident occurred around 2:13 a.m. in the 400 block of N. LaSalle Drive, according to Chicago police.

Police reported that the victim was approached by a white SUV, from which an individual demanded his belongings. During the encounter, shots were fired, and the victim sustained critical injuries.

The man was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Authorities stated that the suspects fled the scene in the same white SUV.

Chicago police are investigating the incident and have not yet made any arrests.
