Oswego Man Wins $1.3 Million Lottery Jackpot at Local Gas Station

A man from the Chicago area has claimed a $1.3 million jackpot after purchasing a winning ticket at the Oswego BP gas station, located at 2791 US Highway 34. The ticket matched all five numbers in the Lucky Day Lotto drawing held on Thursday, June 11, with the winning numbers being 1-13-19-27-35.

The winner, who bought the ticket while stopping for a drink, expressed his surprise at the win, stating, "'Why not?' I played a Quick Pick, and it turned out to be a lucky day." He shared the news with his wife, who was reportedly thrilled by the announcement.

This is not the first time the winner has experienced success in the lottery; he previously won a $45,000 prize playing the same game 15 years ago when it was known as Little Lotto. He plans to use the winnings to purchase a new house and secure retirement for himself and his wife.

In addition to the jackpot, the Oswego BP gas station will receive a bonus of $13,000 for selling the winning ticket.
