Investigation Underway After Homicide in Far West San Antonio

The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide that occurred on Tuesday in the 7970 block of Cactus Plum Drive in far west San Antonio. A 22-year-old man was found dead at the scene, while a woman was discovered injured and later transported to a local hospital.

According to Sheriff Javier Salazar, a relative of the victims called 911 after finding the woman injured in the home. The deceased man was identified as the son of the injured woman, whose condition was reported as conscious but unable to provide details about the incident.

Authorities are also looking for a third resident, 65-year-old Anthony Wayne Neasham, who was last seen leaving the residence in a 2005 green Toyota Highlander. Salazar confirmed that Neasham is believed to be the mother's boyfriend. The suspect in the case was later found dead in another county, though details regarding the circumstances of that death have not been disclosed.

The investigation is ongoing, and officials have not released information regarding a potential motive or further details about the incident.
