Arlington Heights Police Search for Suspect After Teen Sexually Assaulted in Parking Garage

Police in Arlington Heights, Illinois, are searching for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a teenage girl at a local parking garage on Saturday afternoon. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on the top level of the Eastman Parking Garage, located at 155 E. Eastman St. near Arlington Heights Road and Miner Street.

According to the Arlington Heights Police Department, the victim and her guardian reported that a man approached the teenager and asked for assistance with a mechanical issue on his vehicle. The girl entered the man's car, where police say she was sexually assaulted. Following the incident, the teenager was transported to a local hospital for a precautionary medical evaluation.

Investigators describe the suspect as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing between 200 and 250 pounds, with dark hair. At the time of the assault, he was wearing a black T-shirt and black athletic shorts. The suspect's vehicle is described as an older model gray sport-utility vehicle.
