San Antonio Police Investigate Stabbing at South Side Apartment Complex

San Antonio police are investigating a Sunday afternoon stabbing that left one man hospitalized with multiple wounds following a dispute at a South Side apartment complex. Officers were dispatched to the 10200 block of S. Zarzamora Street shortly before 3 p.m. to address a reported disturbance.

Upon arrival, emergency responders located a man suffering from several stab wounds. He was transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. A woman who was present during the altercation was also taken to the hospital after experiencing an anxiety attack, according to statements from the San Antonio Police Department .

Preliminary findings suggest the violence stemmed from a conflict involving a woman and two men. Investigators characterized the situation as a dispute involving a dating relationship, specifically between a boyfriend, a girlfriend, and a "new boyfriend."

The department's Homicide unit is currently leading the investigation. As of late Sunday, authorities had not confirmed which of the two men was the victim or which individual was the primary aggressor. No arrests have been announced, and the investigation remains active.
