Three Arrested in Burbank After Neighbor Reports Burglary in Progress

Three individuals were arrested Sunday evening in Burbank after a neighbor reported a suspected burglary in progress, according to the Burbank Police Department. The incident occurred near the 2700 block of Scott Road around 7:20 p.m., when a resident saw two people dressed in black enter a backyard and climb through a window of a home. The neighbor also noted a suspicious vehicle parked across the street.

Police arrived within minutes and observed two suspects fleeing the residence. Officers established a perimeter and used a helicopter to assist in the search. Both suspects were found hiding in a nearby backyard and taken into custody. Police said one of the suspects initially refused commands and was bitten by a police K9 during the arrest. A third individual was arrested shortly afterward inside a car matching the description provided by the neighbor.

The suspects, identified as Alan Rodriguez-Pulido, 34, Wilmar Castelblanco-Robles, 20, and Cristian Rios-Cuadros, 24, were booked into Los Angeles County jail on residential burglary charges. The investigation is ongoing, and police have not released additional details about the case.
