Machine Gun Kelly Engages With Fans and Local Businesses in Perth Ahead of RAC Arena Concert

Machine Gun Kelly, the American rapper and singer whose real name is Colson Baker, arrived in Perth this week to launch the Australian leg of his Lost Americana tour with a performance at RAC Arena on Wednesday night.

The artist, making his first return to Australia in eight years, took time to explore the city before his show. On Tuesday, he was spotted visiting several local hotspots, including Lil’s Rooftop & Bar on Murray Street, and paid a visit to Scarborough beach. Social media posts from the rooftop bar and a photo shared by Machine Gun Kelly himself confirmed the celebrity's stops.

Perth fans encountered the musician across the city. Taylor Jane and her nine-year-old daughter Saskia met him while out on Tuesday, describing their interaction as friendly and personal. Another local, Noah Gianotti, received an autograph and a brief conversation about music, with the singer mentioning his appreciation for bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The visit also included a stop for a last-minute haircut with Abdul Majid of MD Mobile Barber. Majid described the experience as a professional highlight, noting that Machine Gun Kelly was approachable and receptive to his styling work.

While in Perth, the rapper unveiled two new foot tattoos, sharing images on his Instagram account. The tattoos, reading “look” and “up,” were part of a series of new inkings completed recently, including an update to the large MGK initials across his back performed by an artist from Los Angeles prior to his trip to Australia.

Machine Gun Kelly’s Perth stop provided fans and local businesses rare, up-close experiences ahead of his widely anticipated concert. The tour continues as scheduled, with the artist set to perform Wednesday evening at RAC Arena. No disruptions to the event have been reported.
