Rapper Offset Recovering After Shooting Outside Hollywood, Florida Casino

Offset, the rapper known for his work with the group Migos, is in stable condition after being shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, according to a representative for the artist on Monday.

The incident occurred in the valet area of the casino, where police responded to reports of a shooting. The Seminole Police Department confirmed that one person was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood with non-life-threatening injuries. Although authorities did not initially identify the victim by name, a spokesperson for Offset, whose legal name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, confirmed he was the individual injured in the shooting.

Police said the situation at the scene was quickly contained, and two people were detained in connection with the incident. The authorities did not release further details about the identities or possible motives of those detained.

Offset, who rose to fame as a member of the influential Atlanta-based hip-hop trio Migos, is reportedly under close medical supervision as he recovers. He is also known for his high-profile relationship with fellow rapper Cardi B, with whom he shares three children.

The Seminole Police Department has indicated that the investigation is ongoing. There have been no reports of fatalities, and authorities have not announced any charges related to the shooting at this time.
