Seven Hospitalized After Early Morning Crash on N. LaSalle Drive
Seven People Injured in Near North Side Collision
Seven people were taken to hospitals after a crash on the city's Near North Side early Thursday morning in the 0-100 block of N. LaSalle Drive.
According to Chicago police, the crash occurred at approximately 3:48 a.m. when a red Honda traveling eastbound disregarded a solid red traffic signal and struck another vehicle. The collision took place on N. LaSalle Drive and involved two vehicles.
Injured Individuals Transported to Two Hospitals
Three people from the red Honda were transported to Northwestern Hospital. Police identified them as two 21-year-old men and a 20-year-old woman. The driver of the second vehicle, a 38-year-old man, was also taken to Northwestern Hospital following the crash.
Three additional passengers from the second vehicle were transported to Illinois Masonic Hospital. Police said these passengers were two men, ages 23 and 30, and a 29-year-old woman.
Medical Condition and Police Response
Police stated that the conditions of all seven individuals were unknown but reported that they were all stabilized after being taken to the hospitals. No citations were issued in connection with the incident at the time of the report.
