Suspect Arrested After Multiple Shootings at Fresno Residence

On December 11, 2025, officers took 22-year-old Jordan Rios into custody in the City of Clovis in connection with multiple shootings at a residence in Fresno, California. Detectives from the Fresno Police Department’s Street Violence Bureau Felony Assault Unit had positively identified Rios as the suspect responsible for two of three shootings that occurred at the same Fresno residence in November 2025.

Series of Shootings Reported at Northwest Fresno Home

According to the Fresno Police Department, the first incident occurred on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at approximately 7:24 a.m., when Northwest Policing District officers responded to a residence near West San Carlos Avenue and North Pope Avenue for a report of shots fired. Officers contacted residents who had been asleep at the time. No injuries were reported. Witnesses in the area reported hearing gunfire in the middle of the night and seeing a vehicle fleeing northbound. Officers located shell casings at the scene, confirming that a shooting had taken place.

The second incident took place on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 2:35 a.m., when officers again responded to the same residence for a report of a shooting. Multiple shell casings were recovered at the location. No injuries were reported during this incident.

A third shooting was reported on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 1:30 a.m. at the same residence. Officers who responded recovered multiple shell casings and observed several strike marks on the windows and walls of the home. No one was injured during this third shooting.

Arrest and Charges in Ongoing Investigation

Detectives with the Street Violence Bureau Felony Assault Unit identified Rios, described as a criminal street gang member, as the suspect responsible for two of the three shootings at the Fresno residence. On December 11, 2025, the Fresno Police Department’s Career Criminal Apprehension Team served a search warrant at a residence in the City of Clovis. The operation was assisted by the Clovis Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team. During the execution of the warrant, officers took Rios into custody without incident.

Following his arrest, Rios was booked into Fresno County Jail. He is being held on multiple felony charges related to the investigation, including Penal Code 246 (shooting at an inhabited dwelling), Penal Code 29800(a)(1) (felon in possession of a firearm), Penal Code 30305(a)(1) (possession of ammunition by a prohibited person), and Penal Code 1203.2(a) (probation violation). Authorities report that he is currently held with no bail.
