Evidence Shows Brian Walshe’s Search Activity Before Ana Walshe Went Missing
On December 25, 2022, cell phone activity attributed to Brian Walshe included multiple searches related to his wife, Ana Walshe, according to testimony from Massachusetts State Police Trooper Connor Keefe. The searches occurred in the days leading up to and following Ana Walshe’s disappearance.
SEARCH ACTIVITY ON DECEMBER 25, 2022
Keefe testified that at 12:09 p.m. ET on December 25, a search reading “William Fastow DC real estate” was made on Brian Walshe’s phone. Fastow, who testified the same day, stated he was having an affair with Ana Walshe and that they spent Christmas Eve together with friends. He also said Ana Walshe’s flight to Massachusetts was canceled on Christmas morning, causing her to drive instead.
Between 12:22 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. on December 25, additional searches were recorded, including “Ana Walshe Tishman Speyer,” “Christmas Day plane crash,” and “Ana Walshe found dead,” according to the phone analysis.
SEARCHES IN LATE DECEMBER
On December 29, phone records showed a search for buildings associated with Tishman Speyer, the company where Ana Walshe worked. Keefe stated that this activity was consistent with browsing properties connected to her employer.
SEARCHES ON JANUARY 3 AND JANUARY 4, 2023
Keefe testified that on January 3 at 11:25 a.m. ET, the phone was used to search for “Washington DC police.” Later that evening, between 7:23 p.m. and 7:27 p.m., the phone registered searches for “how to file a missing persons report” and “Washington DC Police Department.”
On January 4, additional searches were made for multiple Tishman Speyer buildings as well as “Will Fastow.” According to earlier testimony from Fastow, Brian Walshe called him that same day. Fastow also testified that he searched Ana Walshe’s Washington, D.C., townhome on January 4, the date she was officially reported missing.
CONFIRMED OUTCOMES
All search activity was presented in court as part of the ongoing examination of Brian Walshe’s actions before and after Ana Walshe was reported missing. Testimony confirmed the timing, content, and subjects of the searches but did not include investigative conclusions beyond the documented phone records.
