Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Bexar County


A male pedestrian was struck and killed in a hit-and-run crash early Sunday morning in northwest Bexar County, Texas, United States. The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) confirmed that the incident involved a white Toyota Tundra that fled the scene after the collision.

The crash took place at approximately 1 a.m. in the 19900 block of State Highway 16 southbound. Deputies responding to the scene discovered that the pedestrian had died as a result of the impact. Details about the victim’s identity, including his name and age, are currently being withheld pending confirmation from the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, which will also determine the official cause and manner of death.

Vehicle Involved in the Collision

Authorities stated that the Toyota Tundra involved in the crash sustained visible and significant damage to its front right side. The sheriff’s office further reported that the vehicle is missing part of its front fender along with its right headlight.
