San Antonio Woman Charged With Child Sexual Abuse as Police Seek Additional Victims

Crystal Celestina Candia, 39, has been charged with Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Young Child under state law and also faces a federal charge of Sexual Exploitation of Children.

The case was jointly investigated by the San Antonio Police Department’s Special Victims Unit and the FBI Task Force. According to officials, the investigation began after someone reported child abuse materials involving a child who was within Candia’s reach.
