Car Salesman Robbed at Gunpoint During Test Drive in El Paso



A car salesman was robbed at gunpoint in west El Paso, prompting a request for public assistance in identifying the suspect.

The incident happened on Saturday, May 10, at 1:30 p.m., when the victim, a salesman for Car Lots LLC, met a man who posed as a potential buyer.

The meeting occurred at an apartment complex located at 500 Ruben.

The suspect test drove a 2019 black, 4-door Chevrolet Silverado with the salesman.

After returning to the parking lot, the suspect pulled out a gun, threatened the victim, and ordered him to exit the vehicle.

The suspect then drove away in the truck, which is valued at $19,800.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his late teens to early 20s, with a medium complexion, a slight mustache, and an average build.
