One Dead, Several Injured in Early Morning Crash in Manor, Texas
A woman died and several others were injured in a crash in Manor, Texas, early Sunday morning. The incident occurred just before 4 a.m. in the 11700 block of North FM 973, in front of Lagos Elementary School, according to the Manor Police Department.
Emergency responders from Austin-Travis County EMS and Travis County ESD-12 Fire arrived at the scene and found two vehicles involved in the collision. One vehicle contained an 11-month-old and a 2-year-old child, both of whom were transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of that vehicle, a 23-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle was extricated and also taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Officers initiated CPR on the infant before they were transported. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
