Six Individuals Hospitalized Following West Phoenix House Fire

Six people were hospitalized in critical condition after a house fire on Saturday morning in west Phoenix, according to the Phoenix Fire Department. Firefighters responded to a first-alarm fire near 35th Avenue and McDowell Road, where they found multiple victims.

Fire crews worked to control the blaze while treating the injured. They conducted an aggressive search and rescue operation, successfully pulling five family members from the primary residence. Additional firefighters protected a neighboring home from the advancing flames, where one person sustained burn injuries and was transported to a hospital.

Among the hospitalized, one adult woman was reported in extremely critical condition, while another adult woman, three adult men, and a teenage girl were all listed in critical condition. The cause of the fire remains unknown, and multiple agencies are assisting with the ongoing investigation.
