Dallas Bar Evacuated as England Fans Drink 5,000 Beers Before World Cup Match

Hundreds of supporters of the English National team were removed from The Londoner Pub in Dallas on Tuesday night, just ahead of their World Cup match against Croatia. The bar, located at Mockingbird Station, was filled with fans who reportedly consumed 5,000 beers, spending over $40,200.

Dallas police were called to the scene due to the large crowd, which had exceeded the bar's maximum capacity. Despite the pub's advertised later closing times, officers shut it down at 10 p.m. due to safety concerns, as only two security guards were on duty. Although the bar was cleared, many fans lingered outside for a couple of hours.

According to the Dallas Police Department, no arrests were made, and officers did not force patrons to leave the area. The England team is set to play Croatia at Dallas Stadium in Arlington on Wednesday afternoon, with kickoff scheduled for 3 p.m. CT.
