San Antonio Man Charged With Murder Following Fatal Shooting in Grayson County

A 35-year-old San Antonio man has been arrested and charged with murder following a fatal shooting near Bells, Texas, on Wednesday afternoon. The Grayson County Sheriff's Office identified the suspect as Kevin Emmanuel Kraemer, who is accused of killing 34-year-old Edward Cruz Trevino, also a resident of San Antonio.

Deputies responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 4:44 p.m. on Wednesday, with information indicating a victim was located on Antioch Road. Upon arrival, authorities found Trevino dead near the roadway. Investigators subsequently identified two crime scenes: one on Antioch Road near Highway 56 and another in the parking lot of the Bells Post Office. Bells is located approximately 70 miles north of Dallas.

Patrol deputies located Kraemer near the scene and took him into custody without incident. According to the sheriff's office, investigators identified Kraemer as the suspect and arrested him at the scene based on evidence collected and witness statements. Officials have not yet disclosed the circumstances that led to the shooting. Kraemer is currently being held in the Grayson County Jail, and his bond amount was not immediately available. The Texas Rangers are assisting the Grayson County Sheriff's Office with the ongoing investigation.
