Los Angeles Woman Arrested After Flagging Down Police With Dead Man in Car

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after flagging down Los Angeles Police Department officers to seek medical help for a dead man inside her vehicle, authorities said. The incident began around 10 p.m. on Monday in the Mid-City neighborhood of Los Angeles, near Sawyer Street and Holt Avenue.

According to the LAPD, the woman stopped officers to request medical assistance for her date, who was inside the car. First responders examined the man at the scene and pronounced him dead. The case is being prepared for presentation to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for formal charging decisions. The LAPD Robbery-Homicide West Bureau Section is leading the ongoing investigation, and officials urge anyone with information regarding the incident to contact investigators at 213-382-9470 .
