Influencer Clavicular Hospitalized After Suspected Overdose During Miami Livestream

Clavicular, the online influencer whose real name is Braden Peters, was taken to a Miami hospital Tuesday night following a suspected overdose that occurred while he was livestreaming from the Brickell neighborhood.

According to Miami Fire-Rescue officials, emergency crews responded to 9th Street and South Miami Avenue after receiving calls about a possible overdose involving a 20-year-old man. Although authorities did not release his name, a source familiar with Clavicular confirmed to media that he was the individual involved.

During the livestream, viewers noticed Peters appeared increasingly unwell before the broadcast was cut short. The incident caused concern among his large social media following. Peters, known for promoting the controversial practice of "looksmaxxing" to enhance physical appearance, has previously spoken openly about using substances, including methamphetamine, to control his appetite and maintain his physique.

Early Wednesday, Peters addressed the incident on X, stating, "Just got home, that was brutal," and described his reliance on substances as "a cope trying to feel neurotypical while being in public." He also mentioned his experience with a life support mask at the hospital. His current health status was not detailed, but he indicated he had returned home.

Few official details about the nature of the suspected overdose or possible substances involved have been released. Law enforcement has not provided further updates on the incident as of Wednesday morning.

Peters was also recently arrested last month in Fort Lauderdale on a battery charge related to a February altercation in Osceola County, in which he allegedly instigated a dispute between two women and posted footage online, according to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

No additional information regarding the Miami incident has been made public, and the investigation remains open.
