Teen Charged With Murder in Evansville Shooting
Authorities in Evansville, Indiana, have charged five teenagers in connection with the death of 17-year-old Josiah Madrid following a shooting in the city.
Arrests and Charges
Officials reported that four of the juveniles were arrested on Wednesday, with a fifth teenager taken into custody on Thursday. All five teens face charges of murder in the death of Josiah Madrid.
In addition to the murder charges, the five suspects have been charged with attempted robbery resulting in serious injury and conspiracy to commit robbery resulting in serious injury. Authorities stated that none of the suspects are being publicly identified because they are minors.

Officials said the shooting that led to Madrid’s death occurred on Nov. 26 in the 1700 block of Marshall Avenue in Evansville, Indiana. Madrid died after the shooting at that location.
