Man Found Shot Dead at Phoenix Apartment Complex
Early on December 12, Phoenix police began investigating a shooting at an apartment complex in the Ahwatukee area near Chandler Boulevard and 48th Street in Phoenix, Arizona. Officers were called to the scene just before 1 a.m.
When officers arrived at the apartment complex, they found 37-year-old David Martin in a doorway with a gunshot wound. Police say he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Assist Residents During Response
During the response, officers assisted family members in exiting their apartment without crossing through the active crime scene. Police used a ladder to guide the family members onto a balcony so they could leave the area safely.

Phoenix police state that no suspect has been identified in connection with the shooting at the Ahwatukee apartment complex. Investigators are asking anyone who may have Ring doorbell footage, other surveillance video, or any information related to the incident to contact them.
