Murder Arrest Linked to Shooting on North Hampton Road

A woman has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of Keith Morgan on North Hampton Road on Nov. 21. Police responded to an apartment on the 20 block of the roadway after a 911 caller reported that a girlfriend’s children had shot the caller’s cousin. Officers found Morgan inside the apartment with a gunshot wound, and he was later pronounced dead at Grant Medical Center.

Homicide detectives were notified shortly after the shooting. Investigators learned that the event was linked to a domestic dispute earlier that day on Burstock Road involving Morgan and his girlfriend, Tiffany Tyler. The domestic incident occurred shortly before the fatal shooting on North Hampton Road.

Detectives were also alerted to a related burglary reported on the 1100 block of Lilley Avenue. According to court documents, residents on Burstock Road told police that the burglary suspects were related to Tiffany Tyler. They also stated the suspects may have been at Lilley Avenue looking for Morgan.

During a police interview, Tiffany Tyler denied having any knowledge of the individuals involved in the shooting. Authorities continue to examine the connections among the domestic dispute, the burglary report, and the shooting death on North Hampton Road as the investigation moves forward.

The arrest marks a significant development in the case, though officials have not released additional details about charges or further suspects. Police continue gathering information to determine the full sequence of events leading to Morgan’s death.
