Arrest Made in Deadly Columbus Shooting

A 24-year-old man, Tyrek Simpson, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with a fatal shooting near the Ohio Statehouse. The incident happened in the early morning hours of November 21. Police identified the victim as 25-year-old Lamar Ross.

Officers found Ross on North High Street with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he died shortly after arriving. The shooting occurred in an area close to the Ohio Statehouse.
