Philadelphia Police Release Surveillance to Track Robbery Suspects

Philadelphia police are actively searching for two men responsible for shooting a store clerk in the face during an armed robbery at the Bridge Market, 2000 block of Bridge Street in Frankford, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. The incident occurred at approximately 10:07 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, 2025. Authorities released surveillance footage on social media to help identify and locate the suspects.

Victim Survives Shooting

The clerk, Ahmed Maham, survived the shooting but sustained facial injuries. Maham had been working at the store for only three days when the robbery occurred. In an interview with NBC10, he described the frightening events, recalling how one gunman entered the store, pointed a firearm, and fired before taking money and fleeing. He also showed the scars on his face resulting from the shooting. Maham stated that the incident has left him fearful of returning to work or even being in the city.

Suspects’ Description

Police described the two suspects involved in the robbery. One suspect, of medium build, wore a black hooded sweatshirt with a “YALE” logo on the back, blue jeans with stripes, and black sneakers with gold and white trim. He is believed to have acted as a lookout during the robbery. The second suspect, of thin build, wore a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and grey and yellow sneakers, and is believed to have fired the weapon. Investigators noted that both men were observed casing the area before the robbery took place.

Police officials emphasized the seriousness of the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
