The incident occurred at precisely 4:01 p.m. on the 8600 block of Production Avenue. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and immediately called 911, prompting a rapid response from San Diego police officers.

Suspect Flees Immediately After Shooting

According to reports from witnesses, the suspect fled the scene on foot, running northbound from the location. Descriptions from those present portray the suspect as a white male, believed to be in his 40s, wearing a black shirt and dark-colored shorts. Despite an immediate search operation, which included checking a nearby RV that may have had some connection to the suspect, law enforcement has not yet located or apprehended the individual.
