Man Shot During Attempted Robbery in Greenwood

A quiet Seattle night turned violent when a confrontation in the city’s Greenwood neighborhood left a 47-year-old man seriously injured after being shot in the abdomen. The incident took place around 1 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025, near the intersection of North 102nd Street and Aurora Avenue North.

Emergency crews arrived quickly after police officers found the wounded man and began administering medical assistance. Medics from the fire department soon arrived on scene and transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center, where he remains in serious condition.


What Happened Before the Gunfire
